Luz María López, born in Puerto Rico, is a poet, narrator, editor, bilingual translator, international cultural promoter, and human rights activist. She has published several books of poetry, short stories, and essays. She serves as Editor-in-Chief of four international poetry anthologies, two of them in the Spanish language and two in English. She has translated the work of more than 60 poets from around the globe. Her poems are in turn translated into twelve languages and published in prestigious literary magazines in America, Asia, and Europe.
